Hamrun Bayern and PO's Bar confirm their good form

Ħamrun Bayern and PO's Bar confirmed their good form of late in the MDA Summer League as they obtained three precious points from their respective encounters and maintained the first place in their group.

Ħamrun Bayern turned the tables in the group A match against Żebbuġ Rangers winning 5-1 in the process. The Bayern team were trailing in the first game but a swift reaction helped them to register a comfortable win. They lead the group A table with 19 points and have an 11-point advantage over the second-placed teams.

From group B, PO's Bar are still first in the standings as they found little difficulties to see off Duke's Bar 5-1. The Gudja side were always in control of the situation bar only one game that their opponents managed to win.

Manchester Conquest Pub climbed second in the table after dominated the match against Sliema Inter DC winning 6-0.

The first phase of this competition will finish on August 26th as later the semifinals will take place.
