Fourth edition of Gozo Film Festival to take place this weekend

The fourth edition of the Gozo Film Festival will take place from the 19 till the 21 of August at Ċittadella in Rabat, Gozo, where entry is free of charge.

The Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri, stated that this event was being staged with the help of the Directorate for Cultural Heritage, and that it hopes to celebrate and promote both local and foreign cinematographic talents.

“The Gozo Film Festival has become an event sought after by many, especially those who are fond of films, especially those made locally in Malta and Gozo. It is another event among the several cultural activities that are staged every year which attract many people”, Camilleri said.

The organiser of the film festival, Federico Chini, stated that the festival will include several activities, such as workshops on film production and events for children.

Camilleri encouraged everyone who has a passion for films to attend this festival, and wished that the festival will be successful just like the previous years.
