International appointments for local waterpolo referees

There will be some international appointments for the MWRA referees for the months of August and September.

Ronnie spiteri will be the Maltese official to represent Malta in the Under 16 World Championship that wil be held in Greece from the 18th to the 28th August.

Ronnie Spiteri will also be one of the referees officiating games in the Girls under 18 group B in Avezzano in Italy

Peter Balzan FINA and LEN Referee will be one of the 16 referees from Europe to officiate matches in the men and women European Waterpolo Championships that will be held in Split from the 27th August to the 10th of September. It will be his second European championship in a row. He will be part of the Maltese contingent as Malta will be one of the 16 teams of Europe taking part.

Massimo Angileri FINA and LEN will be travelling with the Malta Under 18 team to Montenegro to officiate matches in the Under 18 European Waterpolo Championships from the 18th to the 25th of September

Richard Margi will also be whistling in Avezzano Italy for his first tournament abroad from the Under 16 boys from the 8th to the 11th of September.
