U13 Baseball Mellieha Rookies & Ghansielem Redcoats

The Malta Baseball & Softball Association organised a baseball U13 doubleheader between the Mellieha Rookies and Ghajnsielem Redcoats.

The two games which were played at the Ghajnsielem Ground on Saturday afternoon were the fourth such one-day tournament of this season.

Once again the young baseball stars from Malta and Gozo did really well with some wonderful hits and slick defensive plays.

It was very encouraging to see that there were more girls than boys playing the two games which goes to show that baseball is a very inclusive sport that promotes gender equality.

Well done to both sets of players and their coaches.
